FAQS

Do I need a GP referral to access Physiotherapy?

No, you do not need a referral to attend Physiotherapy. However, if you have been to a GP or Specialist please bring your referral letter if they have given you one. Also any MRI reports or X-ray reports please bring with you as they help us get a better understanding of your injury.

Am I covered for Physiotherapy under Health Insurance?

As Chartered Physiotherapists, we are covered by all the major health insurers. However, the amount you can claim back depends on your level of insurance. It is best to contact your insurance company and they will be able to let you know your level of coverage.

What should I wear to a physiotherapy session?

Wear comfortable clothing that allows easy movement. You may need to expose the area being treated, so consider this when choosing your attire.

How long is a physiotherapy session?

The general physiotherapy session can last from anywhere between 30 minutes and 60 minutes.

Is there parking available at Physiotherapy Clinic?

There is on-street parking available. The street is a yellow zone and there is a parking station on the corner from the clinic. It is recommended that you arrive 5 minutes before your appointment in order to park and make your way to your appointment.

Wheelchair accessible?

Unfortunately, the clinic is not wheelchair accessible as the rooms are upstairs. However, for those who are walking with aids such as frames or crutches the clinic is adjustable to these and if stair climbing is difficult arrangements can be made to make this accessible for you.
